Mindful Care seeks a new home for the program –

Mindful Care Adult Day Services are looking for a new home. Our 13 year old non-profit organization has been operating at New Vision Baptist Church since its inception. They have been very generous over the years. However, they were expanding their program and needed to move the program into the Mindful Care space. Therefore, Mindful Care must be emptied by June 30, 2021. It will be here before you know it.

We need your help in finding a potential new home for Mindful Care. It may be a commercial space, but a lease may not be possible. We thought that a church in Rutherford County, which has a week’s worth of unused space, might be the solution. But we will consider any facilities and location.

Mindful Care serves people aged 55 and over who have early to mild dementia, including Alzheimer’s. It provides joy and comfort and is a life saver for caregivers.

Criteria will include ground floor space, separate toilets, disabled accessibility and adequate parking. Ideally we need 2000 square feet, but that much will depend on the configuration of the room.

If anyone knows of a facility that may be suitable for us, please contact president of the board Tom Tozer at 615-653-6209 or [email protected]
